I can’t speak highly enough for my experience with Luana. She was professional, knowledgeable and honest with us about what the local market was doing when we listed our home. She took me under her wing and guided me through more than 35 (I believe the final count was 36-38) listings in a one week period, as our home sold quickly with the new owners possession date in only a couple weeks. Once I found a home, Luana made certain that all the details were taken care of. She helped me to gain access to the property to have utilities installed prior to possession while dealing with a time difference for the seller who was on the east coast. Most importantly, Luana became a very good friend and confidant during my separation and subsequent move. She still checks in on me to make certain I am doing well and once Covid restrictions are lifted we will get together for a lot of wine and even more laughs. If you are looking for someone who is going to get doors opened for listings barely on the market, Luana can do that because she is so switch on to the market and works so well with the other agents in town. She was able to get us into several properties that had offers fall through or were still getting the paint rolled out before their photos were taken for their listing to hit the market. Luana was so professional and respectful of other agent’s listings. I observed her taking great care to ensure that every light was turned off before we left and that if we were to note issues with a property that should be fixed, she would contact the agent immediately to insure that a small problem doesn’t become a huge one. Luana is committed to the teamwork needed to be a great agent and work cooperatively with the other agents. We witnessed an issue with a home where the basement windows were leaking. Upon investigation, we noted that the eavestroughs were significantly damaged causing water to pool on the roof, then run down the side of the house rather than to a downspout. Luana notified the seller’s agent immediately and the potentially devastating water damage to this uninhabited home could have been substantial - the seller’s had already made a large investment in renovations to the home - but could have easily doubled costs to repair the damage to the basement, foundation, and electrical of the home as the electrical in the partially unfinished basement. Not everyone would have bothered to report it to the agent, it didn’t effect her commission in the least, but her professionalism and integrity matter to her. She also advised us on when it’s a good time to adjust your listing, she helped us with staging our home, provided great insight to how best to showcase our space and which repairs to make immediately to reduce the risk of someone lowering their offer or not making an offer to avoid having to do it themselves. She helped us to take our beautiful home and make small improvements that turned it into a home that really welcomed potential buyers. I also want to note that Luana’s colleague, Kate Pieper, who came to take photos of our home for our listing in late December. Kate asked me if I would be willing to pull down all the Christmas decorations, then she would return to do the photos, Kate explained that the Christmas decorations would date the photos of our house and may cause people to believe the listing is older than it is. I learned through my own experience with having to sift through hundreds of listing. Those that were decorated for Christmas in their photos gave off a stale vibe, that caused me to pass them over and most of those homes became the ones we viewed only when I’d seen everything else. Upon entering the homes, there was an odd sense of mistrust caused by the photos being significantly different from the current state. It was like showing up for a date blind and finding out someone use a picture for their profile that was 10 years old and they barely look like themselves. All in all... 240 stars out of 5.

Luana made buying / selling our home so easy and convenient! She was there everytime we needed her night or day, when we would run into a road block or difficult situation she would handle it for us and always keep our stress levels down. We would recommend her to anyone.
